The Magic is in the Forest

Shah Alam, 9 June 2016 - Innity, the leading online media and advertising technology solutions provider in APAC organized its inaugural charity run - a 7 km Fun Run on 29 May 2016 that saw participants reliving their childhood with a myriad of magical characters along the route. The company successfully raised over RM20,000 which will be channelled to Forest Research Institution Malaysia (FRIM) to support their reforestation efforts.

The Magical Forest Charity run surprised runners with four themed experiences throughout the route such as Neverland, Far Far Away Kingdom and Wonderland. Each pitstop was decorated according to theme and wonderfully brought to life by magical characters such as Maleficent, Peter Pan, and Forest Fairies to cheer the runners on.

Participants were also treated to fun warm-up sessions, face-painting booths, refreshments as well as a chance at the lucky draw session after the run.

“We are very pleased to be able to organize our first ever charity run this time. The purpose behind this run is to raise more awareness for the environment and to emphasize the urgency for all of us to act immediately to safeguard our Earth. We’re glad that we received such a great response from everyone and we look forward to organizing more meaningful events in the future,” said Phang Chee Leong, ceo and co-founder of Innity.

The Magical Forest Charity run is part of Innity’s For A Change CSR initiative to benefit various causes to give back to society throughout the year.
